Putting together a budget 223 setup for the kiddo to get into some longer range shooting. Picked up the HT gen 2 6-24 with a set of 7075 med height rings. So far pleasantly suprised with the scope. Took it out yesterday for the first shoot and the glass is very good for the price. My buddy was shooting a 10 year old Burris beside me and he was also impressed with the discovery. Was shooting everything From a kyl rack and paper at 100 yards to steel at 550 and the scope performed well. Turret tracking seems consistent. The only real issues with this scope are that the reticle is overly fine when zoomed out, to the point it's very difficult to use at 6x zoom this is a issue with FFP scopes. Also the eye box is small. I wouldn't put this scope on my hunting rifle, but for a budget bench shooter I think it's hard to beat. It was also useful for spotting for my buddy at 550 yards. Could see splash from his 223 on a grassy backstop.

Exactly as described, great quality optic for a great price.

When it comes to this price point I think it leads the way in entry level budget optics. Reticle design is good!

illum could be better at lower levels
turrents are good slight parallex adjustmen touchyness
great for rimfire at 50/100yds
i will buy again prob next level up

Very well made scope. Optically perfect. Armored construction and great image, very small chromatic aberration defects. For me it's a revelation.
