From Great to Excellent rifle scope.

I received the rifle scope just in time.

Upon delivery, I immediately put it on my Tikka T1X Ace .22lr. The next day, I went to the range to set the zero at 100 yards. I did a couple more trips to practice and to ensure the zero was set and to be ready for the Precision Bencrest Competition the following weekend. The result is that I received 3rd place using this scope for the 1st time. People approach me asking what brand of rifle scope I had on my 22lr and they were surprise with the clarity of the lens and magnification of the scope. By the way, the other competitors at the event had main name brands and customized rifles and did not make it to the finals. This Discovery ED-ELR Gen II 5-40x56 FFP-MRAD, 35MM made it to the finals. There are still a few more competitions coming before the end of this year. I am very happy with the scope.

Also, prior to this one, I purchased a Discovery XED 6-36X56, 35mm for my Tikka T3X Ace Competition .223, and I got 2nd Place with 9 X's at the 100-yard Precision Benchrest competition held in the last month of August 2026. It was the first time using the Tikka with the Discovery XED 6-36X56. A great combination!

I totally recommend both for precision shooting competitions.

La lunette est magnifique mais j'aurai apprécié avoir un vrai document technique pour la première utilisation : quelle type de pile? comment faire un zérotage? quel couple de serrage pour les colliers? avoir deux choix de colliers dans la boîte pour le montage? Bref : il manque pas mal d'informations pour la mise en pratique.

Discoveryopt ELR quality is on point. If you are looking for extra magnification, this optic will help. Best bang for your buck for a budget optic. Haven’t compared it to other high end scopes but this sure has clear Hoya ED lenses. Can’t complain about the quality as it is built very well. This is one of my first optics from Discoveryopt and it did not disappoint. It is on the heavy side, helping add additional weight to my rifle is a plus. Will definitely order for future builds.

I like the reticle with 2/10 increments, very useful. This is my second Discovery Optic scope and I’m really happy with the glass and turrets.

Great budget-scope, normally i'm a Vortex fan, but now turned towards Discovery !
Clear glass, nice reticall and this for half the budget !
Only downsize, no high mounting rings, so had to buy a riser.

Dame good for price

Wanted to get one long range Optical Scope for target and hunting, and after looking around for a long time finally found the one that I thought would suit me and the rifle I wanted to use it on, along with the next rifle that may get.
I wasn't disappointed. Mounted it on the .223 and sighted it in and that didn't take long.
Well packaged and the controls are on the firm side to dial in but that's a plus for me so that they Won't easily move out in the field.
My sight and very slight down side is the added weight but that's what you get if you want hi magnification.
Maybe DiscoveryOps can add Quick Release mounts to change to other rifles as an additional option.

This scope has great value. The packaging was excellent. It comes with really nice rings with the perfect height. For a first focal plane with this magnification it is very clear to 35x after that it is still very good. I will be getting another one.

This is my 3rd scope from this company. They are good quality and worth the money, just sad they refuse to sponsor individual shooters and only sponsor match directors. I am the one who got my regular match director interested in their scopes. Decent scopes for a decent price though, i would put it against my $700 scopes for sure.

Lo he probado en un Remington 700 SPS Varmint y el resultado es espectacular, Se ve un visoe Robusto. Torretas muy fáciles de usar.
