DISCOVERYOPT ED-PRS GENⅡ 4-20X52SFIR FFP-MRAD-Z/L Durchmesser:34MM Optik-Zielfernrohr

I bought this to use specifically for long range .22LR on steel. Overall, it has delivered. With a couple of caveats.

Out of the box, the windage turret metal cover was stuck on. It would turn, but couldnt be slipped off to rezero it. Took a lot of force to shift it. Probably as it had been manufactured 14 months previously and the lubrication had deteriorated. It came off eventually, and no seeming after effects....it tracks. A good point was the responsiveness of DiscoveryOPT customer services around the issue.

The elevation tracks too....up to a point. I did a tall target test up to 12 mil. Between 6 and 8 mil, the tracking seems out. The distances it dials are not of equal size. Yet back on, over 7 mil and returned to zero flawlessly. Knowing there is a weird alignment around 7 mil means I can mitigate....but suggests a potential tracking error. The lack.of a zero stop on this particular model is a pain too...Ive stuck a note with how many mils sit under my zero point so when I get lost I can dial all the way to the bottom and come back up to my zero.

Build quality generally, it is a tank. Fit and finish punches above price point.

As does the glass. Some chromatic abberation and a tight eyebox over x16 magnification......but come on......the brightness, contrast and colour fidelity is quite extraordinary at this price point. A lot can be forgiven for seeing .22LR strikes on steel plates at 150m. You can also see subsonic projectiles in flight.....

Other positives The oversized illumination dial separate to the side parrallax is clever. Turret clicks are solid with little slop or backtravel. The reticle is well suited to.long range use with loopy .22LR. Easy to hold over when needed.

Some weird foibles too. Why no rear optical flip up?

Overall, a very solid buy at this price point and challenges the big Chinese scope makers and out does them in a lot of areas too. Definitely worth the money.

Long term, who knows? But at the moment really enjoying the scope and its capabilities.

For fun, may stick it on my 1000m 6mm BRA and see how it holds up.

Very clear love the scope along with my other 9 discovery scopes eye relief is great because I set it up for me pull it onto your shoulder in your normal shooting position 10-20time while setting scope on position will be perfect and set it up for you not your ten friends love them

Very low-end optics; I'll be looking elsewhere next time. The scope arrived with a faulty seal on the upper barrel. Customer service responded within 24 hours: "OK, it's a known issue, we'll send you the part." Despite two follow-ups and almost two months of waiting, I still haven't received it. Terrible customer service; this is an obscure brand I'd avoid!

This optic for the price punches well above it's weight. That is pun intended as this unit is hefty. With that said, these precision optics are all heavy and not meant for a lightweight applications. The turrets are comically large, but in a good way. Everything about this scope including the packaging seems like it is built with quality in mind. Will it compete with a nightforce, no. Can I shoot my comp rifle just as good with it? Yes!

Bought it to use on a cz 457 in 22lr for the range. First impressions very clear optics for the price. Turrets are firm with good audible clicks tracks on point. This is a very heavy scope would not mount it on a mountain/backcountry rifle. That said I have used it a few times at the range now and would not hesitate to purchase a other for same purpose.

Aunque la entrega fue lenta y tardo mucho en llegar, el visor es un gran visor, nítido, una claridad fantástica y un pelín pesado.

Extremely impressed with Discovery Optics. First off, I have a significant amount of experience shooting long range rifles across 30+ years of military, police and contract work. I own and have used "industry standard" provided optics. I recognize the slight differences in clarity and light transmission based on the quality of the glass.
I can't brag enough on the product Discovery produces. If you're skeptical, make the purchase, you WILL NOT be disappointed.
I have purchased 2 and Discovery has been awesome. Great product, great prices and superb customer service and communication. My DISCOVERYOPT ED-PRS GENⅡ 4-20X52SFIR FFP-MRAD- with locking turrets is on my MPA .308 with aProof carbon barrel, and it outperforms the previous high end scope I had on it, at a 1/3 of the price. It looks good, low light transmissionis better and the glass is extremely clear. The turret adjustments are spot on. Head to head comparison of this scope next to a similar powered competitor priced at $1000, I honestly feel this one is better. Myself and a friend were looking at a tree limb at 500 yards, and the clarity and definition was better with my Discovery. I also purchased a lower grade Discovery for a hunting rifle and it performs awesome. To test its quality, I sighted it in at 100 yards, and using 20x20 inch target, I soun the turrets 20 down and 20 left, fired 3 rounds, 40 up and 3 rounds, 40 right and 3 rounds, 20 down and 20 left for 1 round and it impacted in my original zero group. Each point of aim in this drill was center, checking to see if the scope would handle the adjustments correctly. I can say the expected MOA adjustments matched the actual measurements on paper. Great quality and excellent price, you won't be disappointed.

Good scope. Clear with nice solid functions. Pretty fast shipping. Wish the mounts still came with it. Don't know how high the mount would have to be to use the leveling kit.

Very great quality scope for the price. good clarity. solid turrets.

I’m extremely impressed with the ED-PRS GENⅡ 4-20X52SFIR FFP-MRAD-Z/L scope. The optical clarity is outstanding, even at higher magnifications, with bright and sharp images across the entire field of view. The 4-20x magnification range provides excellent versatility, making it equally effective for mid- and long-range shooting.
The FFP MRAD reticle is precise and consistent, which makes range estimation and holdovers simple and accurate at any magnification. The turrets track reliably with a solid, tactile feel, and the zero reset feature works flawlessly.
Build quality is top-notch – the 34 mm tube is robust, giving both durability and more adjustment range. Despite being solid, the scope remains well-balanced on the rifle.
In short: crystal-clear optics, precise adjustments, and rugged construction – this scope delivers performance you can rely on. Highly recommended for serious shooters who demand quality.

Super

The scope is very good and really comes with great value. The glasses are clear and bring in enough lights.

Zeer helder glas, massief en duurzaam gebouwd. Voelt als een kijker 4x zo duur
