The piece on the 34mm tube and 1.18" center height doesn't fit because of the screw on the side of the scope... So I had to machine the piece. Except for that it does the job wonderfully.
So I hope you will redesign the product soon!

It would be great if the poor contact surface could be improved. I truly believe that a large part of the mount is designed and manufactured very well. The positive aspects are the fit on the Picatinny rail, the recoil lug, the six screws per ring, and the screw tightening sequence markings.
The only major issue is that the contact surfaces between the mount and the scope are very small, around 15–20%. After lapping, I managed to achieve about 65% contact.
I previously purchased one mount, wrote a review, and reported the issue to Discoveryopt. At that time, Discoveryopt told me that the information would be forwarded to production. I later purchased the same mount again, but it showed exactly the same issue.
If this problem were corrected, I would very likely purchase a third mount from Discoveryopt in the future.

I have just received the Discovery Opt DGSM 30. The build quality is excellent; it feels very robust and promising in terms of holding the scope securely. Since the interior of the rings is not anodized, lapping is quite straightforward. On my specific unit, only a minimal amount of lapping might be needed, but even without it, I doubt the mount would leave any marks on the scope tube. The built-in bubble level isn't perfectly accurate, but that’s not a dealbreaker for me—it’s somewhat redundant anyway since it's barely visible during use.

Unfortunately it will not work with the scope I want to use it for. The mount is not clearanced for the nitrogen purge valve (dingus) that exists on the bottom of many rifle scopes like mine. I believe by inspecting and handling to that it is well made, sturdy, and has good fit and finish over all.

Well made, rings are in perfect alignment, 2 recoil lugs and 6 screw ring caps make for sturdy platform...

The first mount arrived and is installed. I have mounted a thermal scope so I can move between firearms.
Its excellent quality, so much so I have ordered a second mount for my day scope. My second mount is in your warehouse awaiting to be shipped.

Does not fit the ed range with the screw on the bottom know allowance was made for the screw wich isn’t noted before you buy but with a grinder or a round file you can make a small groove to fit witch will probably void warranty shame but you can make it work with some common sense and a small groove
