Likeable more than loveable

The 44 mm bell is a nice feature if you want to keep a lower height over bore but the trade off is light gathering. The large 30 mm body is hampered by the smaller bell diameter. I honestly think this scope would be better served with a 25 mm body. Functionally it works fine, the glass is clear if not a bit dim. Also the controls are nice and the turrets have a nice positive click. Over all it seems to be a decent value for the money but I believe most shoppers would appreciate a more conventional bell/body ratio.

Great for rimfires

Have purchased 3 of these so far for rimfires, better glass than Vortex at a lower price. The illuminated reticle is not bright during daylight, and the on/off dial towards the back of the scop isn't ideal for some rifle configurations, you really have to mount to a picatinny rail system to get the proper eye relief. Still love this brand, have purchased 4 other models as well over 6 months. And my friend has purchased 4 as well. No issues so far!

Nice

This would be my first optic from this company and I am impressed. For the price, the quality is exceptional. Does it perform as well as a $3,000 scope, I would say not. That said, it performs very well and has all of the features one could ask for. One nice feature is that the illumination knob has off positions between each setting so that you don’t have to dial it back to zero/off. Find the flavor that suits and just keep it there. I would highly recommend.

Great Budget Optic

I recently had the opportunity to use the HT GEN-II 4-16/6-24x44 Rifle Scope, and it has proven to be an exceptional addition to my hunting gear! This riflescope offers versatile magnification options, making it ideal for long-range hunting and shooting. The first focal plane (FFP) reticle ensures that the reticle remains accurate at all magnification levels, providing consistent and precise targeting. The illuminated reticle with six brightness levels is a standout feature, allowing for optimal visibility in various lighting conditions. Whether I'm hunting at dawn, dusk, or in low-light environments, the reticle's illumination makes aiming much easier.

So far so good on a 338 Lapua

Wasn't expecting much from this economic FFP scope. I mounted it on a large caliber rifle and shot several rounds at 200 yards and all hit steel. The glass is clear and seems well built. Overall is value for your money. It will be mounted on a new 308 win in the future. Will update review if I find any problems down the road.

Lifetime Guarantee!

I had a 5-30x56mm version of this scope, and it was amazing. I would put it up against some much more expensive scopes. Clear glass laser etched MOA reticle, FFP, and will be perfect for long range Hunting. This will be mounted on my 7mmRM Elk rifle That I just finished a sponge camo paint job on. Wow, I love the way it turned out. These optics are the real deal value plus performance.

A Quality beginners level, long range and flexible scope compared to brand names.

Product arrived in a timely manner and was well packaged which is extremely important for such a product as this is. I have this scope mounted on a 7mm 08 caliber rifle. I h ave shot it a number of times, perhaps 20 to 25 rounds. So far it has maintained zero. This seems to be a very well built rifle scope that has a number of features that much higher priced scopes have on. This is a black scope, 6 X 24 First Focal Plane. It comes with a sun shade, and front and rear covers. It weights about 1.9 lbs, has an adjustable parallax which is easily adjustable and has a wheel that can be attached for quick adjustment settings. It is of aluminum construction and includes a set of rings. It is about 14.3 inche3s in length and has a built in leveling position. It is fully multi coated leading to a very clear picture. In using the scope while firing at targets of various ranges, I found adjustments easy to make including sighting in. Overall a very fine product for a very reasonable price range. I very much approve of this scope.

Functional, budget, FFP riflescope

I put this scope on one of my rifles and took it for a spin. It is feature-packed, value oriented, and surprisingly functional for the price. The name brand budget scope seems to be about 3x the cost, so this seems like a great scope to serve as a learner scope. The scope feels well made. All of the scope knobs (turrets, zoom, focus, illumination, and diopter) all move very slowly and feel very premium. The locking turrets are great. You don't need to uncap the turrets, you can adjust your zero on the fly by simply pulling up on the turret to unlock it, and it will begin to click. The reticle looks pretty crisp at the higher magnification levels. I like that when the scope is zoomed all the way out, the illuminated part of the reticle basically looks like a small red + sign. I was able to make good hits when zoomed all the way out, and all I could see was the glowing red. Another great feature is that the illumination knob alternates between brightness levels and has an "off" setting between each brightness. So you do not need to turn the dial all the way around in order to turn it off. This is a great feature.I used the scope at night and it the picture was surprisingly workable. I was pleasantly surprised at the clarity. I'm not really equipped to compare glass quality, but it was workable for me and should probably be good enough for a beginner. The scope's illumination has one quirk however. When you turn the brightness all the way up, the illumination starts to "bloom" or blur the reticle. And there are some illumination artifacts on the numbers, which I have tried to show in the picture. One unexpected pleasant surprise is that there appears to be a spare battery storage compartment on the scope itself.I did not use the included scope rings, but it is another value-add that the rings are included for folks who are just getting in to shooting. I feel like the rear lens cap is more trouble than it's worth, as it is really difficult to remove and it's not a flip up lens cap. The front lens cap seems good, but I don't think it works with the sun shade. I did not use the seashell-shaped focus adjustment "handle" ring thing. I also did not use the "kill flash" honeycomb shaped thing. These things are all great value adds, but it can be overwhelming when you open the package and then have to figure out a lot of these gizmos. For example, I spent a few minutes trying to use the flip cover in conjunction with the sun shade. I would say, the seashell thingy and the killflash may be unnecessary, but the sun shade and lens caps are fine to include. This scope is definitely trying to be a good budget scope. Side parallax adjustment seems to be a premium feature. It's great that there is no laser pointer or top-mounted red dot, as those would just drive down the perceived value. This scope seems to spend most of it's effort on being a good scope. The scope has a ton of features, possibly too many. The scope includes a ton of accessories, possibly too many. If I could critique it, I would want it to discardI think the name-brand alternative to this would be a Vortex Diamondback tactical 6-24, however that one will be at least 3x the cost. So if you are not set on what kind of scope you want, this could be a value-oriented way to get your feet wet and not spend too much money. The big issue that I have with these budget oriented scopes is that I don't know how they will hold up over time. My unit seems to have survived about 60 rounds of 5.56mm however it is unclear how long this scope will last.
