The lens and sight picture are clear, magnification is right, the knobs and finish feel great. However I used a leupold steel 34mm mounting ring and tightened it to 20in/lbs and the parallax adjusment was stuck. I had to loosen the ring all the way down to 15 in/lbs. Since this sight is long I can play with the ring position and tighten it to roughly 15 in/lbs and only the upper end of the parallax is not functional. As a note, even if the knobs turn the parallax might still not be adjusted. I noticed the same with the HD 2-12X24SFIR FFP-MIL but much more pronounced since that is a smaller scope so I could only tighten the front ring to 9 in/lbs. With some double sided glue and the rear ring tightened to almost 20 in/lbs I hope it will keep in place with a PCC. I also hope, that I did not hurt the internal mechanics with the initial tightness. Maybe the DISCOVERYOPT rings are the only compatible ones with these scopes since they are also aluminium so might deform sooner or with the scope but I'm not sure.

A 100MT riuscivo a vedere anche il foro fatto dal proiettile sul bersaglio senza difficoltà, sono veramente soddisfatto ora mi resta da testarla in vari ambiti ;)

Been using this optic for 1.5 yeas on a 223 platform and never let me down. One, if not the only, with variable parallax setting in this price range.

Per il prezzo che l'ho pagata, si può considerare un'ottica mediocre, di fatto non è così, è molto luminosa e funzionale, per ora non aggiungo altro, ci aggiorniamo fra qualche anno di utilizzo.

Great riflescope for a great price, suitable as a top-end riflescope/that's my case but especially for "AR" rifles. I have several riflescopes, mounting rings and other accessories from this manufacturer and also several of my friends who are more than satisfied with them.
The DISCOVERYOPT ED-AR 1-8X24SFIR FFP riflescope is very well equipped and suitable for even the most powerful calibers. First of all, I appreciate the adjustable parallax (LVPO riflescopes with adjustable parallax are on the market like saffron) and open rectification towers. On this riflescope I would accept a thicker reticle, the intensity of the reticle illumination and the individual adjustable stages of weaker intensity, it would be completely enough if the weakest stage of illumination was the strongest, it would be completely enough if only the central dot was illuminated. On the other hand, you won't find anything better for that money. Later, when I receive the rings, I will expand the review and add some photos.

the optic preforms well. It takes a second to get use to the FFP with an optic that goes down to 1x zoom, but with illumination and a clear sight picture it is very easy to get use to. The parallax adjustment is the real prize with this lpvo. Highly recommend!
