First impressions of the XED are very good: excellent tactile turrets with easy to read labelling and positive clicks, smooth zoom and parallax adjustment - and a securely attached throw lever. The optics are clear and bright, and the graticule perfect for precision shooting at any zoom level. As with all high zoom scopes, there is significantly reduced eye box and image shadowing at c.36x, but that is to be expected. Mounted on a Ruger Precision Rifle in 6.5PRC, my first scores were 50.8 @600 yards and 49.6 @1,000 yards. The XED delivers excellent performance and value at its price point.
Optyka na 223 varmint bardzo jasna ostra naprawdę polecam
Well made/ good quality scope rings i 9nly use Discovery rings on my scopes.
Ottimi anelli.
È la seconda che compro ottima meccanica e lenti luminose.
Surprisingly capable optic for the price.
Tracking is consistent and reliable, which is honestly the most important part — what you dial is what you get, even when stretching out past mid-range distances. For real-world shooting, that builds confidence quickly.
The reticle is well thought out, especially for holdovers. The Christmas-tree style works great when you start pushing distance and need to work fast without dialing everything. It’s usable and practical, not just “nice on paper”.
Glass quality is decent. Not top-tier, but absolutely usable. You won’t get premium clarity or contrast, but it does the job without holding you back — even in less-than-perfect conditions.
Where it shows its limits is in refinement:
Slight distortion at low magnification
Reticle could be a bit more visible depending on light conditions
Overall feel is good.
Still, considering the price, it punches way above its weight. For anyone getting into long-range or wanting a capable setup without spending a fortune, it’s a solid choice.
Super precise fabrication
Muchas gracias un producto de muy buena calidad 👍💪
I have almost every scope these guys sale and I like all of them. This one has smaller crosshairs with a small dot in the middle that I like really well. Would recommend.
High quality rings
You will not find better rings for the price, just $40 on Amazon. The index pin is an excellent idea as well! AA++++!
I’m using this scope on a 6.8 western. It has had around 300 rounds fired out to 1000 yards. Very pleased with the scope. No issues. Haven’t had need to use the illumination yet but I’m sure it just fine.
Fits perfectly and comes with rings for multiple sizes
Let me start with saying the optic is very nice. Great glass and solid construction. The clarity is great. The turrets are solid… but they don’t line up with the marks and are a 1/2 off from the indicator. The illuminated reticle has an extreme blur when used indoor or low light conditions but outdoor at distance you don’t notice it. And finally the eye relief.. it forces you to be extra consistent. There is no wiggle room. If you don’t line up absolutely perfectly you can’t see. This scope is excellent for bench shooting.. but I would struggle to use it for anything tactical or prs style matches.
I've been to the range twice now with this scope on top of my Weatherby 307 in 25 Creedmoor. I shoot target with this setup and so far the scope has performed perfectly. I have a rifle with a $2200 Nightforce, there are minor differences between the 2 scopes. I took WhoTeeWho's word for it on this one and purchased it to see if it was really that good. I'm really glad I did. This proves you don't have to spend a lot of money to get a very good scope.
I love the quality. The post between the screws is a great innovation. I really like the torque specs being on the rings.
Awesome powerful scope. Great turrets. Great magnification. Great quality. I have 4 Discovery scope and all are very well made.
So good ! Very happy either way the results ! Thanks
Solid construction and easy to mount.
Works well when positioned so you can monitor it with your non-dominant eye while aiming.
That said, the fluid is quite thick, which makes the bubble slower to react. After each shot, the bubble tends to split into two and takes some time to settle back, which can be a bit distracting.
So far the scope seems very nice. The glass is clear. The only downside is it's very heavy. This is my 2nd discovery scope. As long as they hold up, I'll buy another one.
buen día, recibí la mira en fecha, pedí en primer plano focal, y al colocar la mira en mi rifle y probar en el tiro federal observe que el retículo se mueve, como si fuese segundo plano focal.
This went on a budget build 700 ADL in a magpul hunter light stock .
This li'l 243 is scary accurate and just in time for rock chucks. I can't afford any of the big buck glass, but this scope has the best resolution of any scope I own including Vortex, Burris, Athlon, Bushnell. All adjustments have translated my DOPE into very satisfying hits on target. If you're looking for some new glass on a budget, try these first
